The Toyota GR86 is an up-and-coming car model made for gearheads and adrenaline chasers alike. Our main market for this product is 18-25-year-old Asian men who seek to live life in the fast lane. I have worked don't his campaign with an agency called interTrend, based in Long Beach, CA, specifically with the creative strategy and concept generation aspect of the project.
Our Strategy
Inspired by the cult classic anime, Initial-D, we have taken a modern twist to this anime format to create an exciting scene as if it were taken directly out of an anime. This campaign seeks to invigorate our audience by using a popular style of media to create buzz for this new product.
